Well, ‘lap’ isn’t entirely the right word.

He insists on pushing my legs apart when I’m in the recliner. I call him ‘Crotch Kitty.’ If he decides to attack, I will be permanently disabled.

I thought his behavior odd until my daughter told me her cat does the same. I’ve had probably ten cats and this is the first one I’ve had to exhibit this behavior.

So far he has only injured my legs when he uses them to vault himself away.
