12. A large group of horses charged towards my brother...

... when he lived in Colorado and he was hiking there in a hilly and grassy area. He said the ground was shaking from their stampede towards him.

Then they stopped to surround him for awhile, mostly acting curious, before they collectively trotted off elsewhere.

He had no idea if they were wild or perhaps owned by some rancher in that remote area.

By the way, living organisms have been killing other life on this planet for many hundreds of millions of years. I suppose that was easier than acquiring the amino acids and other building blocks of life from scratch each time.
