Too much to suffer through, too much stress and pressure. The responsibility of bringing another sentient being into existence was overwhelming.
Having kids would have made me miserable, and I knew this about myself early on. It was in 5th grade I decided not to have kids.

So I haven't.

Some studies have shown parents sometimes have kids for selfish reasons.

Most parents would never admit that having thier child was motivated by selfishness.

But they get pissed at people who are childfree. Guess they want everyone else to be as miserable as they are. Dunno.

Imagine how much better the ecosystem would be if people in mass stopped giving birth for one year.
