I admit that I was a cheapskate where my glasses were concerned, having found Foster Grant multi-focus glasses just right for my aging eyes. However, after turning 65, I thought I'd better have a professional check my eyes out since I hadn't had them examined since the mid-1980s (I know...) Anyway, there was a sign right when you walk in that stated:

Effective October 2, 2017, this office is a weapon-free facility including customers with a concealed carry permit. If you have any questions, please see the manager.

That made me feel safer, especially given what has transpired the last couple of weeks. And they keep the front door locked as it's by appointment only.

So, if any DUers living in south/central lower Michigan need eye care, L.O. Eyecare has 10 locations around this neck of the woods.

Oh, BTW, no cataracts, no signs of glaucoma, everything looked good. Yay! I'm wearing sunglasses in the house because they really dilate your pupils, lol. I did decide to get prescription lenses and boy, they're hella expensive. 😳
