Wonder if he ever tried to ride her again?

Many years ago, when I bought my mare, she was 5 years old and still a bit green. The first thing she did was jump the fence and scrape me off in a tree--breaking my arm in multiple places. Gawd, I loved that horse! (but she never came in the house). We went through many adventures together, ups and downs. I finally lost her a few years ago when she was 35 years old, and still miss her. On the good news front--Mr. Bayard just bought me a new horse!
