and quite good, golfer. He had one arm in a cast, but had the jones, so he went with 3 other friends. Played using only one arm and still broke 100. So....some pretty good skills.

I shot a round with him many, many years ago and he hit two shots that should have been recorded for posterity. Both times, he was either short or long of where he was aiming, and the ball was arcing right into a huge ditch.

First time, it hit the cart bridge that crossed the hazard and landed in a place anyone would be happy with. Any golfer, anyway.

Second time, it clearly missed the bridge by quite a margin, and was heading for the far, steep bank, and was surely going to bounce back into the water. Nope. Hit the only patch of mud - it was smaller than a dinner plate - and stuck. A sidehill wasn't about to slow him down, so he used a short iron to get to the green.
