Ask about getting rides, mention you needed to go to urgent care this weekend and couldnt. Find out from the social worker how to access those. I know you dont need it now, but youll need it again. Raising $ for rides isnt the answer when you have a local county resource.
Also mention your food insecurity to the social worker. I guarantee you are not the only person in your area who is facing less SNAP $ this month. The social worker will have heard about it and can tell you which organizations in the community are stepping in to fill that need for folks like you.
Thats what you need to do. The magic money fairy isnt currently available, as lots of folks are hurting.
