I wrote that last at the VA using my phone and no reading glasses.
Because I did not notice that there were pairs my shoddy math was way off and as a result the value for shoes and cones were two times what they should have been.
When this error is corrected and the equation redone, the corrected answer looks like 23.
Perhaps.
Professor Gac had the correct answer.

There is a right shoe and a left shoe. Because we can calculate the boy as 5.
