I like to keep a basket by the door for stuff that has to go out: library books, mail etc, and I keep the empty reusuable grocery totes there too so I don't forget them when I go to the store.
I love the idea of having the little toiletries for guests - we never have guests, otherwise thats a great idea.
I have a basket that I keep a collection of "pamper me" stuff - bath lotions, pedicure set and stuff that hubby knows is hands off.
Maybe you can keep asking for the consumables to be refilled? lol
Its a lovely basket - I like reading all the suggestions!
