22. Hmmm...

I have two that I keep for different reasons, one is a kind of luxury-ish car and I like the fancy features, including the mechanics but I would get rid of it first if I had to. I was a professional driver for a time so I have demands of my vehicles that may exceed those of the regular driver.

But the true love of my life car is, Spudlette, my '92 4runner with 241K on it, bought her at 100K. I put some restorative work into her in the last two years and she runs so well that the other one has been sitting in the driveway all last month. (It has a pricey problem right now and I just don't feel like spending the cash on it right now.)

After spending a little on Spudlette I am getting a lot for the effort. I've replaced a few things but she has needed the least amount of maintenance of any car I have ever owned. The paint is still shiny and the upholstery is in great shape except for the driver's seat outer edge that I scraped off with my butt heaving myself up into the seat. It has a cover now. I knew she was a gem when I got her and I'm thankful I could hang on to her all these years as the second owner. My only vehicle for over a decade and we lived in the mountains for all of it. Been my salvation in a couple instances and she deserves to be kept up, my heir will inherit her and will probably be thrilled.
