... so she has stopped doing the solos at Renaissance concerts, even though her voice is pretty much up to them. The irony? They've replaced her with an electric guitar.

Renaissance didn't use electric guitars in the '70s because they felt that the tech of sound reproduction was not good enough for them. The tech has improved somewhat in the ensuing 50 years.
