In the late 1950s through the late 1960s there was a thriving local band scene in Washington, Oregon and Idaho. I have a pretty comprehensive collection of albums of such bands as the Fabulous Wailers, the Dynamics, the Viceroys, the Kingsmen, Don and the Goodtimes, and my sister's favorite the Sonics.
I can't forget Merrilee and the Turnabouts, the Frantics, Dave Lewis, the Blue Notes, and of course Paul Revere and the Raiders, Tiny Tony and the Statics. There were dozens more.
