2. Last year when I went to my college homecoming I asked for a disabled person's room

and made the reservations for two nights several weeks in advance of my stay. When I arrive on Friday, they didn't have the room available for me as they promised and I had to stay in the adjacent room with instructions that I could move my luggage into the other room during the morning before I left for the football game.

It turns out that the other room wasn't any different than the first room other than the table was moved out of the way so there was more floor space available. The door on the bathroom was too narrow to fit the wheelchair inside and there were no grab bars for either the tub or toilet. I had to bump myself on the butt on the bathroom floor to use either. Needless to say, I left a complaint with the management and won't go back there again.
