4. May I just say I despise these commercials and the outfit they're plugging?

Having worked in the legal field for 30 years, I can say with some confidence that if you are the beneficiary of a structured settlement, there's probably a very good reason for it. That reason usually being that the beneficiary isn't capable of handling his own money very well, and is likely to get snookered out of all or part of it by some fast-talker. But along comes our good friends J.G. Wentworth to tell Mr. Traumatic Brain Injury that it's your money and you need it NOW!

For dimes on the dollar, a person signs away a settlement that was supposed to take care of them for years and now takes care of them for months. At the end of that time, they're screwed, their money is gone, and J.G. Wentworth can afford a whole new cycle of clever ads. Capitalism!
