94. I live in the high desert with lots of ravens

I feed them and usually get visited by my regulars every day (around 4) but I’ve had 50 ravens at once around my fish pond. I’ve had ravens come inside when grandkids left door open. They love mirrors and can damage a place in 5 minutes. When they are not flying and walk around in little groups, they remind me of mini penguins.

My friend a few miles south of me feeds the feral hogs families. She has named them all and they eat out of her hand. We are all treated to their photos on Facebook. Not my thing - but the baby hogs are really cute.

When the coyotes come by at dusk, my dogs run out to their very large run - and my dogs and the coyotes howl at each other. It can go on for five minutes. I love it.

It’s the great plus of living out in the country. I’m not into rats and they mess with my car wires, but fuzzy wood rats are totally adorable.
