I hesitate to post the username, as it’s possible the person is still amongst us , using a different name. I’ll just leave this clue:

I’ll further add that the only reason I thought about this person is that Plano, Texas came up in a discussion, and that’s where he lived. I’ll also add this person’s outstanding fishing skills. Hooked many an unwary fishie, that one.
Google is disappointing in this regard. I found one archived thread, from an earlier iteration of DU. Only one. Was it really that long ago that ‘giving it a goog’ would pull up every single post from someone using a unique identifier?
If anyone should be so inclined, I’d like to hear about a better search engine. I’ve used archive.org, but a good many links are no longer valid.
