9. Your success in life is what you define as success

We tend to believe that success is to be rich, to have power/influence, to be a celebrity, etc.. The problem with this is 99% percent of the people won't be successful. People are competitive by nature and if someone you know has more or achieves more than you then you view yourself as not being successful. All that does is cause stress on yourself and feeds a feeling of being a failure.

Instead of trying to met an unrealistic and artificial standards others judge you by set your own, realistic and achievable standards.
You don't have to be the best at anything to be successful; being good at what you're doing is sufficient. Remember, the only person you have to worry about judging you is you.
