4. My situation is a little bit different.

There is no evidence of fraud that has impacted this card (yet). I check online almost every other day or at the very least twice a week. I only have one card - I don't need any more than that. It seems like the bank knows something about some potential for fraud which they want to protect themselves and me against. Their email even stated they see no impact on my account. Maybe overkill on their part?
