(29,414 posts)43. Big difference between a glass elevator and a rope ladder:
you're not under your own power going up (or down.) Fatigue would be a huge factor in the fear one would have besides the fear of unsafe/unharnessed heights.
And then there's the part about the ladder being up in the clouds, so you'd have moisture on the rope to deal with, too.
