7. An interesting and true story

I had a number of friends in an organization to which I belonged. One, named George, was a Philly detective. Several of us were at a local diner for lunch and were discussing TV. When the topic of cop shows came up, someone asked George which one was most like his actual experiences. He said Barney Miller and that they really had detectives similar to Dietrich, Harris and Fish.

My tax dollars at work.
