3. I was dog person until my 50s. When my father-in-law died, we ended up with a 15 year old cat.

I found him really interesting and just cool. Now have a 6 year old that is just as cool, and seems better adjusted than me.

I still like dogs, but dogs are not acrobats, are noisy, can't take care of themselves when home bound, require leash walking in city, etc.
