Yes, I understand, huge Giants fan..but it was impossible to not get caught up in the Saints thing. Our office was decorated with player pictures and even had a Merry Breesmus Christmas tree. Once a week you had to wear their colors. The night they won, except for Obama's first inauguration, I have never seen so many people all happy at once. But, the crowds kept me up until 4:30am and if I had heard another "Who Dat" thought I would scream. It didn't keep you up?

Never made it to R Bar, but my friend loved it there. My fav was an Irish pub - Fahy's on Dauphine and Toulouse. There were 80 of us from all over the country so always fun. Not sure if I'd like it there by myself. But loved the lower Quarter where you and I lived..early in the morning, walking dogs, people watering the balcony plants, going out for coffee.

I miss it terribly. Wish I could afford a small apt there. But anything decent starts at $450k for 600 sf.

Did you buy any of those anti-FEMA T-shirts ...saw them everywhere.
