Those were taken after I moved out and the owner had the house cleaned out finally and repainted. The only pics I ever took in the house were of Cleo.

The Parlor used to have red walls, which I liked. Here is Cleo in one of the two ratty comfy chairs where we spent most of our time.



One day I was sitting there watching TV with Cleo and a rat ran out of the fireplace, crossed the floor right in front of us, and disappeared into the kitchen! The fireplaces had been converted from coal to gas ages ago, and the rats were coming in through openings around the gas pipes from under the house. I closed those up that day, and eventually killed three rats in the house.

You can still see where they were nesting in the roof in those realtor photos - Fr. 11 above the table.
