(47,675 posts)31. I spent most of 2nd period 10th grade math class at the Jack In The Box up the hill from WLHS.
I don't think there are any JITBs this side of the Rockies anymore. There was a time when Columbia was FILLED with small restaurants. Every village had at least one, usually more. It all looks the same now, same with Reston. Just the same shit, different road. Reston is particularly bad. Other than one Trader Joe's and a Fresh Fields, the only grocery stores are either Giants or Safeways. All of the gas stations are either Exxon or Sunoco. With few exceptions, all of the restaurants are chains (although I have to admit I miss Ledo's).
Step outside to Herndon and the entire world changes. Last I heard, Tortilla Factory was still doing quite well.
