I have come to the conclusion that I have to be who takes care of me. It's been 17 years and I've been the happiest I've ever been. I don't even miss having controlling, immature, self-centered men around. And I get along just fine with men and women. I just have terrible luck with love relationships. Friendships are great, but I refuse to be anyone's punching bag or emotional or pshychological garbage dump anymore.
