This having hydro thing 24/7 is great! [View all]

.
.
.

For those that do not know, I suffered in a 17 foot trailer with no hydro except what I could afford gas for my generator now and then, and minimal heat with propane for years . . . .

ANYHOO! -

Living in a nice motel housekeeping unit for the next month while I wait to get into the home I bought in the bush - 28 acres.

YUP - I said BOUGHT! It's mine, just waiting for the thaw to dry up the road.

Here it is, after midnight, had a crock-pot (again) going for 2 days, made some meal packs for the freezer, added frozen veggies, peas, carrots, cauliflower and broccoli to the pork roast and taters already in there.

At this time of day(night) up to two months ago, I'd be laying in my bunk under 3 comforters just to stay warm . . .

NOW, due to an unexpected inheritance, I can LIVE!!

not just survive.

I'm a little confused by the term "hydro". I had assumed it just referred to running water. MiddleFingerMom Apr 2013 #7
hydro-electric - term is for electricity from running water, i.e. dams ConcernedCanuk Apr 2013 #9
