Land-wise, gardens and greenhouses - found out by accident I got the green thumb thing going.

Otherwise, being a retired mechanic, an above ground hoist for the larger garage already insulated and with hydro.

Got 3 extra wood-stoves, 2 for the garage(one cooking, one air-tight) - and will build a lean outside for the other cook-stove (got 2) for cooking with wood in the summer - land is almost totally wooded!

Upgrading garage mostly to work on my own vehicles and equipment, but will do some occasional work for established friends - won't be "hustling" work, no need.

And once I'm settled, search out a mate (female) that appreciates that kinda life way back in the bush.

Little bit of hunting, just small game, rabbits, partridge, etc - and fishing in nearby streams and lakes for food.

I like privacy, so no commune, no theme park.

But it would be a good spot for one if so inclined!

think resale . . .

I'm a little confused by the term "hydro". I had assumed it just referred to running water. MiddleFingerMom Apr 2013 #7
hydro-electric - term is for electricity from running water, i.e. dams ConcernedCanuk Apr 2013 #9
