(12,132 posts)I've been seeing this thread for several days and I resisted entering simply because I couldn't think of the right movie and wanted to give it some thought without being influenced by others' picks.
I FINALLY think of the right movie and open the thread and there it is in the OP.
I loved that movie so much when I was little - I remember my dad taking me and my little brothers to see it in a theater. Saw it on TV a time or two after that and no matter how old I got, it's always remained one of my favorites mostly because I love remembering doing things with my dad. Even if we had to bring my pukey little brothers along. Never a child catcher around when you need one.
I recently bought the Blu-ray and only just now realized that was Benny Hill in there. lol I was also previously unaware of the sheer magnitude of talent involved besides Benny and Dick Van Dyke and the other actors. Roald Dahl, Ken Hughes, Ian Freakin Fleming! Albert Broccoli!
I wonder if this has anything to do with the fact that I have also loved James Bond films all my life...
Thanks for the memories, HH.
