17. OK, you asked for it, so here goes...

I'm looking for all of the above but it's damned near impossible to find so I've all but given up.

I want someone who likes me for me, not someone who thinks they can change me into what they think I should be.

I want someone who is unpretentious and doesn't have to have the latest flashy gizmo or doohickey just because everyone else has it.

I want someone, like me who has somewhat of a sense of adventure and is not afraid to visit new places and try new things.

I want someone who I don't have to babysit.

I want someone who is responsible and can pull their own weight. I refuse to be someone elses mother, father, personal ATM, or maid.

I want someone who is not afraid to say, "I'm in a relationship with LeftofObama, and he's in a relationship with me. We don't mess around behind each others back."

And this is the biggie, I want someone with whom I'm sexually compatible. I don't know about other gay guys, but I can tell you in my neck of the woods it's damned near impossible to find.

That being said, I think I'm going to be single for a long long time.
