My aunt is very sick right now. She is in hospital and on morphine. Thankfully she is at peace

12. My favorite aunt died in June.

My mother died five years ago. My dad is the last of his generation in our family. My father says old age isn't for sissies. My mother too had dementia the last years of her life. The good thing about the dementia is that it took away her arthritic pain. The bad thing is that it eventually took her from us.

My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. I promise, things eventually get better.
