13. She did you a favor.

This is a lesson that we all have to learn, and you found it out without a lot of loss. We come into this world alone, and will leave this world alone. In the time between these two events we will meet a lot of people. Some will enrich our lives, some will be real assholes, and some will just pass thru meaning little or nothing. You have to live your life, and she has to live hers. Sometimes people get together and stay that way for a long time. This is good, but it is not the norm. Be happy that you and her had a good year to share with each other, and move on with your own life.
Live well, and may you have a rich and happy life!
