to the box this morning. It's really about 7" deep because we already had 3 on the ground.

But that's okay. I'm just thrilled the smooth coat JRT loves the snow. All my worries about 2 such hyper dogs being cooped up all winter were fairly unwarranted. I gave them some old jeans parts to play tug of war with, and they chase each other all around the house, baying almost like hounds. When they run it off, they bark at the door to come in again, and I don't need to worry until next time they whine at the door. In other words, if I let them drive, all's well.

Of course they haven't yet jumped into a snow drift over their heads either! But they might like that too. I'm happy when they're happy.
