maybe once a year, but when I have to get one? It's the only thing under the sun that works. I feel like I've been blessed that I haven't had one now in 18 months. There is NOTHING that works - no Ibuprofen, and god forbid a narcotic that just puts you in a bad mood on top of still being in pain - except a cortisone shot.
That's been my experience.
I've been doing this now, though for several months, combined with exercises and these vitamin/supplements. I got a twinge which I was just certain was going to lead to pain, and ... it ended up just being a twinge. You cannot imagine how thankful I was.

Nobody's arguing against taking supplements on the advice of a doctor for a real deficiency.
