54. One of the people down the road used to have live bands
Sat Sep 27, 2014, 05:13 PM
Sep 2014

Every year for the man's birthday. Although they were a quarter of mile or more away, the volume was so loud I could hear my TV inside the house with the windows closed.

Finally, one year when we were hosting the mounted units from downstate for the state memorial to fallen law enforcement officers, the visiting police complained - and THEY called in a noise complaint. After that, I called in every year, especially since the man's birthday coincided with the memorial weekend every year.

While that guy hasn't had those parties at his house for the last few years - he may have died or moved - I still have neighbors who set off illegal fireworks, run VERY loud engines, or operate mowers and leaf blowers constantly.

So I would love to have posthumous revenge by having live bands here!
