1. I had boxes and boxes of 45s.

If there was one song I particularly had to have, I would be the first in line to buy it, and bug the store until they got it. I remember reading 16 magazine (there was another one, forget its name, which wasn't as good as 16). Yes, I hung up the posters that came with the magazine.

My first rock (well, pop) album was one of the Monkees', which I got as a 6th birthday present. Played it until it wore out. Then came Bobby Sherman, Donny Osmond, and David Cassidy.

I wish I knew what became of those 45s. I have some, but I have no idea what happened to the rest of them.
