48. Smoky Mountains.....

stay in Pigeon Forge, TN. Lots of nice cabins for rent. Lots of shows to see. Lots of good food to eat. Dollywood isn't bad. Hop, skip & a jump from Gatlinburg. But the best part of it all is taking 2 or 3 day trips driving up into the Smoky Mtns. It took us 3 day trips in order to see all there was to see. We packed up the cooler with food & it was a good thing we did because that mountain air can sure make you hungry. It is the most visited national park for good reason, yet it wasn't crowded at all. Simply beautiful. Temps should still be plenty mild at that time of year.
