Hope you can make arrangements to get to your daughter easily. She will
be needing all the support she can get.
We had a friend who dropped dead of a massive heart attack when he was 49--an ER doc--
working out at a hotel. Two surgeons were working out next to him, so he had CPR before
he was even on the floor, to no effect. So, sometimes, there is just nothing that can be done.
Don't let your daughter beat herself up with "maybe if I'd been there" kind of thinking.
I am so, so sorry for you and your family.
