Bought a house and retired there. But I had an epiphany after a series of weather related incidents which inspired me to give up my dream of retiring on the East Coast and live in my home state of Michigan instead.

I love Virginia, don't get me wrong. But I wasn't looking forward to deal with being underwater in my old age.
