(96,957 posts)I think that's messing with him. He sees Sasha and he sees a future.
Rosita is kind of the rebound companion, so to speak.
His wife is dead, his children are dead, he has given up on living. Eugene comes along and gives him purpose. Something to latch onto and not think about his family. Rosita was part of that episode - the battle to get to D.C..
I think maybe Abraham is now seeing possibilities, and that's why all the questions about babies and such, and why he's so seemingly self-assured in his opposition to it. He's not really against the idea anymore, he's just fostered a "What's the point?" attitude as a defense mechanism for so long, it's hard to put it down now. I think he's asking questions to compare with things he is already thinking.
I think he's in love with Sasha. He might care for Rosita, but he's in love with Sasha.
Or so it seems to me.
