In reply to the discussion: Game of Thrones 6.8 "No One" (spoiler alert) [View all]Solly Mack

I'm not overly fond of the Blackfish (because of what he says/thinks about Jon in the books) but he was one of the better characters in the book to read about. (of all the people in and about the Trident)
I want to see more of his character on the show. I enjoy the actor (Clive Russell) who portrays him. Also because if someone from House Tully stands in the North, it allows for more people around the Trident to stand against the Freys, Lannisters, etc. It might give them the gumption to stand up against them.

Maybe it stars Gendry. Each episode he'll row to a different, interesting place...

Yes, and no. He agreed to marry a Frey daughter as means of sealing the (albeit false) peace.

I'm pretty sure I know what Cersei is planning but I can't help but imagine it'll go badly.

Again, Jaime's loyalty is so misplaced. Cersei, of the books, doesn't love Jaime.

Yes! I wanted that exchange to be in the show. A clean break, as you say. The more removed Tyrion

Makes for a cleaner hero, so to speak, for Tyrion's entire character to be downplayed some.
