I don't think Arya would trust Theon. If he told her the truth - that he took over Winterfell and some of her people died, and that he murdered two young boys to take the place of her brothers, Arya might want to see Theon dead. Oh, she'd hate Ramsay more, and she would be glad Theon helped Sansa (in the show) - but Arya is very much her father's daughter. Her reaction, both in the books, and on the show, to Theon might not be pleasant.
If Dondarrion and the Hound do go North together, they both can tell Jon and Sansa what they know about Arya. They could also help Jon and Sansa - Beric would gladly help Jon once he knew Jon was considered the "chosen one". The Hound loved Sansa, and he still might. Well, in the books he seemed to love her.
Gonna be exciting no matter what.
