Ones Ive watched over and over and never get tired of in no particular order:

Sweet Land - sweet indie about German mail order bride circa 1910
Down By Law - Tom Waits/Jarmusch film
Powwow Highway - love it!
Hair - love it!
Its A Wonderful LIfe
The Christmas Story
Latcho Drom (Safe Journey) - incredible Gypsy music/visuals
Touching The Void/ Tracks / Wild (Cheryl strayed) /Into The Wild- any movie about people journeying/overcoming great odd

Runners upThese are others Im very fond of but dont watch all that often maybe once ev 5 yrs.

The Ice Storm - various other Ang Lee I cant think of at the moment
Smoke Signals
Anything Emma Thompson
Netflix has a had whole bunch of excellent European WW2 movies lately incl BBC version of Anne Frank, that is lightyears beyond that dorky 50s film

What am I forgetting!
