not punish a cat for biting but take some fun away from it. So when my cat bites me (which is new behaviour for him...they are little nips nothing that hurts) I put myself in the bathroom for a few minutes and close the door. It has come to this. I think I'm quite a passive person really. But it seems to work. He usually likes to go to the bathroom with me. He is quite bewildered right now. Quietly sniffing around the apartment.
