10. Alastair Simm in "Scrooge" (1951)

No other cinematic version of "A Christmas Carol" even comes close, for me. Watch the scene towards the end where Scrooge surprises Bob Cratchett with an increase in salary---Simm goes through about a half-dozen emotions in as many seconds while cackling about Cratchett's confusion. Nobody's ever done the role better.....
