18. Definitely March of the Wooden Soldiers, Christmas in Connecticut, The Shop Around the Corner.

I'm another one who has fond memories of seeing March of the Wooden Soldiers (AKA Babes in Toyland) on TV every single year.

And I'm another fan of A Christmas Story. "You'll shoot your eye out, kid!"

And for more dysfunctional family fun, let's not forget The Lion in Winter.



More recent but definitely among my holiday favorites are Kenneth Branagh's A Midwinter's Tale (also known as In the Bleak Midwinter) and Peter's Friends. The first concludes on Christmas Eve, the second on New Year's Eve.
