was over. When Rick posted those messages on social media, fans were shocked because the band had told the media months earlier that there would be NO interviews during the tour.
If Rick had forgotten that - or if he thought he might be able to ignore it - the band and their management would probably have been very upset because Rick's messages would have resulted in a LOT of pressure from media to give them interviews during the remaining months of the tour. And there would have likely been complaints from media in the cities where they'd already done concerts, who'd lost their chance to interview the band while they were there. Not sure who the band's managers are, but Liam's manager is also his partner of more than 10 years, Debbie Gwyther, and she and others working for Oasis might've had to spend much of their time for at least days mollifying journalists and editors who were upset about Noel having done a huge favor for Beato, while shutting out all others. The band and their managers probably heard from at least a hundred journalists, none of whom they'd have wanted to antagonize. All of whom would have felt they deserved a personal explanation if Oasis wouldn't also agree to an interview with them.
I'd mentioned that possibilty in September, in reply 2 of the earlier thread that I linked to last night.

Rick deleted that Instagram post last night, and I haven't seen anything yet that explains why. But
possibly he shouldn't have been posting immediately about the interview on a tour where they hadn't been doing any interviews, other than Noel talking to friends on his favorite sports talk radio show in the UK.
And I saw that possibility mentioned frequently by fans online, back in September.
I should have mentioned it in my OP last night, though I had seen more fan talk on Reddit of a possible conflict with the documentary, which has been in the news.
Fans were still hoping for months that even if Rick had violated such an agreement, deliberately or unthinkingly, he'd be allowed to upload the interview after the tour was over. He probably hoped for the same thing.
Rick's a huge Oasis fan, and he'd been trying to arrange an interview with Noel for years. Even though they weren't doing other interviews during the tour, Rick might've convinced Noel to do one before the first concert at MetLife stadium in NJ, the closest venue to Rick's home in Atlanta, as a favor to him.
Maybe he was so excited he couldn't resist posting about it. Getting that interview then was a coup - Rick Beato given preference over NME, Rolling Stone, all the major newspapers and news and entertainment shows, all the journalists Noel's known for decades in some cases.
But if Rick had had even an unwritten (but probably recorded, legally binding) agreement with Noel to keep the interview secret for months - embargoed for a while, as interviews sometimes are - he blew it. And if that's the case, Noel's actually doing him a favor by not telling everyone Rick broke that agreement, which would make other artists less likely to trust him.
This morning, after thinking about it more, that seems at least as likely a possibility as the band having reneged on their side of the agreement.
I'll edit the OP to make that clear.
