many of their their songs appear as being closer to current reality, and not always in the most positive sense. Maybe they were decades ahead of their time, with what once seemed like abstract imagery becoming signs of the times as events unfolded. I'll reserve judgment on the David Byrne stuff. He was obviously the dominant creative force, although all four members of Talking Heads contributed equally to the overall sound. And I got a chuckle from the Lou Reed bit as told by Frantz. After all the dark foreboding lyrics with persona to match, it turns out he was an ice cream addict!
