I’ve loved Lucinda and been a fan for as long as I remember. I’ve seen her countless times live and make a point to never miss her when she passes through the area. I last saw her this past winter when she did the Car Wheels anniversary tour. It was really fun. She is always great live, and she always surrounds herself with the best musicians, whether in the studio or on the road. She also contributes to some other great music. I love her duet on Hurry Up Sunrise by Luther Dickinson.

RollingStone Magazine just reported that she plans to tour with Jason Isbell next summer. https://www.rollingstone.com/music/music-news/lucinda-williams-you-cant-rule-me-colbert-1050545/. That would put two of best songwriters in the business on the same stage. Hopefully we will have live music by the summer 2021.
