It's a freaking killer album, and was on my turntable constantly for months back in 1988-1989 (college, baby).
I will say, however ... it kinda sounds shitty, recording-wise.
I don't know if there's single note coming thru that's under about 80Hz. Bass guitar and drums have zero 'impact'.
It's 'good loud' just cause it rocks, and is a great album.
EDIT: Lol, I take it back, I had my soundcard in analog discrete 5.1 mode (best for video games) ... switched to digital 2-channel ... THERE IT IS!
It does sound pretty great loud after all, my bad
