126. Man, do I remember this one. Came out around 1980.

The first time I heard it I was dumbstruck by its beauty and poignancy.
Did a little Wiki search on it and at first no one wanted anything to do with it. But it was nominated for a Grammy and won song of the year by the Academy of Country Music.
The writers were sued by the writers of Rocky Top for copyright infringement, saying the melody was too similar to theirs. And they won the suit and got credit as co writers. I myself don't hear enough similarity to warrant a lawsuit, but that's me.
And David Frizzell is a younger brother of Lefty Frizzell.
